Statistics of Metro Municipality has released the Latest Metro April 2025 Edition, which presents various strategic socio-economic indicators as a current picture of the condition of Metro Municipality. Some important points in this edition include:

Economic Growth: Sectors that are the main drivers of the Metro Municipality economy include wholesale and retail trade, processing industry, and agriculture. Economic growth in 2024 was recorded at 4.88%.

Employment: The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in 2024 will reach 70.08% with a total working population of 90,116 people.

Poverty: The percentage of poor people in 2024 will decrease to 6.78%, with a poverty line of IDR 503,161 per capita per month.

Human Development Index (HDI): In 2024, the HDI Metro Municipality will reach 80.41, indicating that the quality of life is increasingly improving and placing Metro Municipality as the area with the second highest HDI in Lampung Province.

This data is important as a basis for formulating development policies that are more inclusive and targeted.
